In 2019, Chef Honey, one of the founders of Dingras Empanada, found herself pregnant and desperately wanting a savory empanada. She searched through nearby malls but couldn't find a single store that sold the pastry she desired. Rather than letting the craving pass, she decided to make her own.

Chef Honey has credible cooking experience, having previously worked as Chef de Partie at Resorts World Manila. She created her version of empanada by drawing on her professional experience and love for cooking, Soon enough, her kitchen became a hub of experimentation for a recipe with a flaky, buttery crust and a mouthwatering filling, with a lovely baby with her.

Once she perfected her recipe, Chef Honey began sharing her empanadas with family and friends and received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Her food quickly became a hit, word of mouth spread, and eventually, neighbors and friends of friends were eager for a taste of her empanadas.

Since then, Chef Honey realized the potential of her newfound passion, and alongside her partner, they decided to turn this small venture into a full-fledged business. Dingras Empanadas now offers six flavorful variations of empanada, catering to different tastes and preferences.
