The SINING KAPE and KULTURA is an organization of Filipino Coffee Artists in the Philippines that was formed to continue to promote the brilliance and talent of Filipino coffee artists and at the same time cross its broad identity to continue to expand awareness about art using the sustainable and unique medium that Filipinos really love and one of the prime beverage in locale, which is COFFEE.
Sining Kape and Kultura are composed of coffee artists from the Philippines ranging from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao who come together for a common cause and advocacy of promulgating the rich Philippine Culture and the Arts and its heritage, spreading awareness on the sustainability and innovation with the use of the very unique brews and stain of one of the leading beverage worldwide, extending help and support to local coffee farmers as well as uplifting our very own coffee, Kapeng Barako which is known scientifically as Liberica, and lastly an immediate answer to the worsening threat to our environment, the Global Warming utilizing planting more coffee trees that will benefit not only the local farmers but as well as our very own environment.
The Sining Kape at Kultura coffee artists who will present their respective works using the popular medium not only Internationally but also locally was founded by a Filipina Upcycling Artist Esang Ocampo, who discovered upcycling coffee art using coffee beans and grounds fusion with the creative reuse of transforming waste materials, unusable, by-products, or surplus materials into a new creation of one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
Along with the Award-winning Filipino-International Coffee Artist, Rens E. Tuzon, one of the pioneers of Coffee Art Painting in the Philippines. His works were first recognized in Paris, France through the Raconte Moi Le Café, After this, awards came from the New York Coffee Festival and London Coffee Festival.
